Capture the night sky in a whole new way. Watch stars and galaxies shimmer to life through the use of astro-timelapse photography. Participants will learn how to find the Milky Way using multiple methods, how to focus in the dark and then shoot the Milky Way over a 3-4 hour period. This is an intermediate level class and will require you to know the basics of photography as well as how to compile and execute timelapse photography.

Great light. It’s something every photographer wants, hopes, and dreams about. Sometimes, natural light gives us exactly what we want, and it’s great. But what happens when natural light isn’t there, or we just want to create something a little more dynamic? That’s where bringing in your own light comes into play. Learn a few of the many ways you can illuminate your couples with Sara France and Megan Allen, and take your lighting to the next level. Together, they’ll be teaming up to share a little bit of both worlds to equip you to go into your next session with a stronger handle of how to make light your own, and give your clients a fantastic product.

Long Exposure: A Hands-On Experience

Long exposure is a unique technique that allows you to manipulate time and create unique and breathtaking images when increasing exposure. It transforms waterfalls and fast moving rivers into milky ethereal shapes, quiets down the oceans, blurs out clouds moving in the wind or even turns cars and stars into trails of light. If you want to learn how to integrate this technique to your photography in the wonderful settings of Oregon, this workshop is for you. Late Night Timelapse

Capture the night sky in a whole new way. Watch stars and galaxies shimmer to life through the use of astro-timelapse photography. Participants will learn how to find the Milky Way using multiple methods, how to focus in the dark and then shoot the Milky Way over a 3-4 hour period. This is an intermediate level class and will require you to know the basics of photography as well as how to compile and execute timelapse photography.
